Prof. Dr. Ad KilProf. Dr. Ad Kil

Professor Ad Kil, PhD, holds the esteemed position of Vice President of Applied Research at Wittenborg, where he spearheads research initiatives. With a distinguished career, he serves as a Full Professor emeritus of Professional Research Didactics and oversees Executive PhD Programmes at Nyenrode Business University, the Netherlands, and Kingston University Business School, London. Additionally, he holds the title of Professor of Research at the Nordic International Management Institute in Chendu, China. Professor Kil's expertise extends across borders; he previously served as a HRD professor at Nottingham Law School, UK, and as the director of the Master of Conflict Management program at Maastricht University Law School. His contributions to legal education are notable, having served as a senior lecturer at the Dutch Bar Association (NOvA) where he developed the Advocacy Skills Programme, enhancing legal training and professional development. His leadership roles reflect his deep engagement with academia and his dedication to fostering excellence in research and professional development initiatives.

 

Professor Dr. Ronald S.J. Tuninga 

Professor Ronald Tuninga is the Rector of Wittenborg University of Applied Sciences, where he leads the institution through the final phase of its AACSB accreditation and oversees key academic initiatives. A distinguished academic in the field of international business and marketing, Professor Tuninga brings decades of leadership and teaching experience from top institutions across Europe and beyond. He has held senior academic leadership roles at institutions such as Kingston University, Maastricht School of Management, and Nyenrode Business University, and currently holds honorary and emeritus positions in the Netherlands, the UK, and Denmark. A seasoned professor and researcher in international business and marketing, he has taught at universities across Europe and the US, led global development projects funded by major international organisations, and consulted for companies including GE and Melitta North America.

 

Dr. Rauf Abdul

Senior Lecturer / Head School of Business. Furthermore, Rauf is involved in accreditations, teaching, and research. He holds a PhD in Human Resource Management (HRM), an MBA, and an MSc in Business. His research activities focus on HRM and value creation in the digital economy (e.g. HRM and online labor platforms/crowdsourcing, HRM shared services, and the use of algorithms/AI in HRM). His main focus in research is on issues related to HRM. Currently, he is interested in researching HR competencies for future industries such as competency profiles required for smart industry (industry 4.0). He loves teaching and supervising graduate and postgraduate students for their graduation assignments / final projects. He has developed and implemented various HR strategies and procedures for the HR function of the university. He has presented research papers at several international conferences. He is conversant with the Standards and guidelines for quality assurance in the European Higher Education system and is also part of different assessment panels for educational programmes and institutional accreditation assessments.
